Le Jazz Hot, directed by clarinetist Dan Palmer of Shawano, has become a popular band on the Sunset Concert Cruise series. The band is a quintet of exceptional jazz musicians and is billed as "A Benny Goodman Revival".

Other Le Jazz Hot band members are: Bob Maynard of Milwaukee, a virtuoso on vibes, who had his own jazz band for many years. Dave Sullivan of Sheboygan, on guitar, was written up as "best jazz guitarist in Wisconsin". Jazz connoisseurs listening to Sullivan's virtuosity and imaginative improvisations have no argument with such a lofty praise. Andy Mertens of Oshkosh on bass, and Gary Miller of Oshkosh on drums will complete the five piece jazz combo.

The versatile and crowd-pleasing Le Jazz Hot will quite often do polkas, waltzes and show tunes in addition to their traditional jazz repertoire in the Benny Goodman style.
