Click here for the next introductory NWTC Diesel short course. The course focuses on fuel filters, fuel pumps, and fuel line bleeding up to the injectors. Very hands on and fun. NWTC has a very nice diesel laboratory with large and small diesel engines. In this course we practiced the learning on two. 2 cylinder. Kubota diesels. MAINTAINING A MARINE DIESEL ENGINE The target audiences are recreational boaters and professional mariners who will: Gain a general working knowledge of marine diesels; Enhance understanding of diesel engines and their components. Learn to troubleshoot, Learn to perform basic preventive maintenance Learn to perform typical repairs.
